Boys, Year 6 to Year 11
Our Juniors section is made up of players of all abilities and experience levels who are working hard to improve their skills and abilities on the pitch. We emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude, helping our players develop not only as athletes, but also as individuals.
We have teams at U12, U14, and U16; each team covers two year groups.
Our U14s did the league and cup double in 2024 after an unbeaten season, and the U12s reached the final of the London Junior League.
How to Join
How to Join
We welcome all boys in school years 6 to 11 to come and play rugby league and to make new friends. Please register your interest by completing the online registration form.
We use the Spond app to manage communication and share information about training sessions and matches. Download: Apple, Google. Join with group code YOVJC.
The first two sessions are free. After that we ask for an upfront payment for the season. This is £85 from April, or £70 after the May bank holiday. There is a 50% discount for siblings.
Players will also need to pay an £18 registration fee to the RFL in order to play matches.

Where and When
Where and When
In 2025 our U12, U14, and U16 teams play in the London Junior League with competitive matches most Saturday mornings during the summer term. We play our home games at Streatham & Croydon Rugby Club, CR7 7JW.
Until July 19 we have midweek training on Wednesday evenings for U14 & U16, and Thursday evenings for U12 at Streatham Common.
What to Bring
What to Bring
Players should ideally have studded boots, a gum shield, and suitable clothing to play in. Bring a bottle of water and a snack as needed.
We provide match shirts. We have a club shop for those that would like to buy training gear.
Be aware that rugby is played in all weathers and conditions. Players should ensure they have sufficient layers of clothing, dependent on the weather, including waterproof kit for when it rains.
